Over the Ear, Full size Wireless Noise Canceling Headband Headphones, 24 hours of play time, NFC pairing, Flat and Foldable with carry case. Predetermined EQ for deep bass and high-clarity Mid & High frequency.
I had a pair of Beats Studio 2 headphones for several years, and they were great headphones. No overly bass-heavy (as their earlier models had been), and the small amount of noise cancellation made long bouts of air travel more bearable. Gave them to a friend while overseas, and found myself in London Heathrow with the realization that a long flight without a pair of headphones was going to make for a long day.
Pleasantly Surprised; Great Headphones
I purchased these not sure what to expect, and I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The sound is really good, including a decent amount of bass. The built in bass boost setting helps a lot to be honest. I think that there could be more bass, but I said the same thing about the set of 12″ subs that I had in my trunk, so take that with a grain of salt. The noise cancelling works great, and they are super light and very comfortable to wear. Bluetooth works well, paired really quickly with my phone, but didn’t use the NFC pairing function.
Half the price of Bose, all the goodness.
I have a friend with bose quiet comfort 35s and compared to these the active noise cancelling isn’t quite as good. The audio in general were both very good between the two, I think the bose sits on the head just smidge more comfortable (I can still wear these for hours). So the point I’m getting at is it’s on par with headphones twice it’s price.
