By no means miss a beat with sensible, adaptive noise cancelling, wi-fi freedom and Hello-Res audio that allows you to concentrate on music in its purest kind.
I had the QC 35, then the Sony MDR-1000x, now this. Here’s my verdict…
Since how this compares against the Bose QC 35 is what many want to know, here are my thoughts having used both.
In-Depth Review – Sony MDR 1000x
*** VERDICT between MDR 1000x and QC 35 is out, scroll down to the end for it! =) ***
Great sound quality and features; bad build quality; horrible Sony customer support
* Sound quality and features.
The best features of the competition with few sacrifices
These are my favorite noise cancelling headphones on the market as of November 2, 2016 BY FAR! I have purchased and then returned all of the current competitors over the past two months (Bose QC35, Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless, Parrot Zik 3.0 and Sennheiser PXC 550).
Comparison of the Sony MDR-1000x and Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless
Wow! These Sony MDR-1000x headphones sound fantastic. I was debating to myself on pre-ordering these headphones because I already own a pair of Sennheiser Momentum Wireless, though I knew they would be out of stock fairly quickly. I decided to bite and here they arrived the day they released. I will be making a comparison of these headphones within this review, as these two models are the ones I have on hand and are the ones that many people are debating between purchasing, while also borrowing my friend’s Bose QC35 for comparison.
Ridiculous. Absolutely amazing. The best of the best.
I don’t even know where to start, I don’t know if I have ever made another purchase I have been as happy with as these headphones. I had some beats studio 2.0 cans for the last couple years, the Sony isn’t in a different league, its on a different planet. Audiofiles will be satisfied especially if you are running a high def amplified wired signal these will suck up all that goodness and punch you in the head while maintaining perfect balance, clarity, and agility. Plenty of punchy bass, sparkling highs, and unmuddlled mids. If you seriously crank them to the limit you will start to get slight distortion in the base, but to get there I had to push it far far beyond what I would consider an uncomfortably high listening volume.
