For the money, I cannot imagine a better product.

Long story short, I purchased this to replace a Bose Soundlink 2 that planned to take to work after breaking the Jawbone Jambox that I keep on my desk (dropped it). In any case I realized hat I didn’t really move the Soundlink all that often and while the battery option was nice, I was willing to sacrifice it to get better sound quality (I know “The One”, with it’s battery, is a direct competitor with the Soundlink but I wanted a definitive upgrade). In any case, The Three came in today and I have been listening to it for a few hours now. I am really impressed. I own very high-end headphones and I’ve had a few audiophile grade systems in the past and while I do not consider myself and expert (read snob), I do know what good quality speakers sound like. For the money, to my ears, this speaker sounds exceptional. So much so that I am considering purchasing a few more products in the Klipsch “Play-fi” family to pair with it. I knew that Klipsch was/is capable of making great products. I own a set of their 2.1 THX speakers and in the 10 years that I have owned them I have not heard anything that even approaches them for anywhere near the same money. Back to why I purchased “The Three”. I shopped around quite a bit. I read a lot of reviews and I listened to some product demos locally. In the end, I was torn between this and a Sonos product, either the “Sonos Play 3” (which does not sound as good as this) or the “Sonos Play 5” which is larger and has a bit more volume (and a bit more bass output). In the end I chose “The Three” by Klipsch for several reasons.

Just get it already…

Love this speaker! I’ve been a ‘Klipsch Guy’ for decades and this new gear doesn’t disappoint. Nice bass response and clear, crisp, high end. This is plenty loud enough for any home situation. Sounds great loud and also at low volumes. I bought this along with the Fluance RT-81 turntable. The combo sounds great! This speaker has very easy setup and is good looking too. I use the Klipsch Stream Android app to control the various inputs and to control the WiFi apps. I stream my Amazon Prime Music Stream through WiFi as well as my subscription to the Sirius/XM service. Also comes with a handy remote for volume and input control.

Looks great, sounds terrific, and does a terrific job of decluttering my hifi fetish

Looks great and does a terrific job of decluttering my hifi fetish . I enjoy records but that means having a receiver, usually an older one, and speakers. All of that stuff take up a huge amount of space. I was worried it would sound mediocre but it sounds terrific. My system before was a 1970s Sansui and TEAC book shelf speaker. It all sounded great. But this sounds just as good and that was what I wanted. The only 2 things that would make it better: MONO switch and a headphone input . I use those two things infrequently so not going to make much of a difference.

Really great sound quality

Really great sound quality, even more so for the money. I needed a speaker for my office and listed to a lot of the hi-fi brands before coming across this one. To my ears even speakers twice the price don’t sound better.

Sounds great. The apps / firmware upgrades can be wonky

Sounds great. The apps / firmware upgrades can be wonky, but we’re still in the nascent stages of this technology so I expected that; just maybe not this much of that.

Bass lovers rejoice…

This is sound!! I bought a couple of Bose speakers and returned them right after I heard music on my new Klipsch. Deep bass and distinct notes… make this an awesome system. The thump on the floor and the boom in your chest make this the perfect system for bass lovers. I don’t listen to loud music but I listen to jazz with deep bass notes.. this beats everything else I have heard. Buy it!

Wonderful speaker

Switched from Bose to this and completely love it. The setup app isn’t’ too hard to use and lets you customize multiple speakers if you have more than one of these. Works with Amazon music, Spotify which are my main two music choices for music streaming. I have had no trouble at all with this speaker for the last 3 months of ownership. Just buy it if you like Klipsch. You won’t be disappointed
