Great speaker, Samsung app blows
Speakers sound amazing, as folks have said, if your pairing with a sound bar, from time-to-time you have to re set up- it just loses its configuration. You need to use a smart phone, no other way to configure. Once you get setup and understand the app (could be better- difficult to find setup and limited functionality)
I like this product
Using with Sumsung flat-curve screen TV instead of sound bar.
Love the look of my big black football
Love the look of my big black football! The speaker’s sound is clear and crisp. It is a little light on bass. Using the app is a bit cumbersome.
App works well but could be better. but the egg is what we call it
Played it next to a bose and a Sonos, it is much crisper in sound than either by far. Have I hooked up to my alexa and TV for surround sound. App works well but could be better. but the egg is what we call it, may be ugly but has unbelievable sound
This egg looking thing is awesome. It’s loud
This egg looking thing is awesome. It’s loud!!!! Clear music, enough bass to keep you happy. Love it so far.
Great sound quality
They are also great for wireless surround sound configuration
These wifi speakers have remarkable sound for their size and they are quite attractive on display around the house. They are also great for wireless surround sound configuration. They sometimes decide not to connect and require a reboot and if they were less trouble in that respect they would be a 5.
Amazing hardware for the right set-up
With respect to the hardware/capabilities as a Bluetooth speaker, I’d rate the R7 as 5 stars. We’ve used this as an audio solution in our living room/dining room/bar area. It’s a large, connected space with a slanted, vaulting ceiling. The R7 is a much more aesthetic solution than multiple, smaller speakers. I’m impressed with the sound quality. Placing the R7 between the living room/dining room along a wall has allowed us to evenly fill both rooms with rich, dynamic sound.
